The goal of the event is to update the status of the renewable energy projects under development in Bulgaria, considering the new requirements pursuant to the new Low for the Energy from Renewables, with the collaboration of National Electricity Company (NEK) and Electricity Distribution Companies in Bulgaria. Moreover, the other goal of the event is to establish direct business relationships between all players in the investment process: Bulgarian and international banks, investment funds, owners of a RES-projects intending to attract strategic partners for the project development, investment companies, consultants, representatives of the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, representatives of the Electricity Distribution Companies, state administration, experts.
The seminar will be open by presentation of the new legislative framework and information on the status of projects under development and to be connected to the grid.
The second part of the event, called “inter-exchange sessions” 3 and 4 will include bilateral “face-to-face” meetings between project developers and other potential partners, which will be organized on thematic basis as follow:
- Small hydro power projects;
- Wind power projects;
- PV projects;
- Biomass and biogas projects;
- Geothermal projects.
The participants interested to take part in the inter-exchange sessions have to provide preliminary standard information for each project, which will be distributed among the registered participants prior to the event. Based on preliminary information, more than 80 projects will be presented during the seminar. All registered participants will receive their project list, plus all presentations on CD.
The organizers will provide during the seminar competent legislative and technical support, able to be carry out in English, as well.
